the beautiful New York City

I have always had a love affair with New York City. Ever since I was a kid, I would dream of what it would be like to live there, to be an artist there, to explore, to be myself, to be free. Over the years I have spent some time in the city, but have never had the opportunity to live there, until now.

My heart feels so full being here. It feels like a home I have never been able to come home to, until now. I am inspired, and my heart is open to creating. I can't wait to see what this summer brings, and to share my journey with you.

I had the recent opportunity to do some Van Dyke processing with some of my older images.  To me, there is no better feeling than the physical print, the tangible outcome of a photograph. It gives the image life, it gives the image breath.
